Cineplex digital signage featured in new Ontario highway rest-stops

If you find yourself travelling along
Ontario highways 400 or 401, be
sure to stop at one of the 19 newly
redeveloped ONroute Service
Centres to view the handy work of
Cineplex Digital Solutions (CDS).
Not only has CDS already installed
an approximate 228 screens
within the service centres, it will
also be responsible for maintaining
and creating content for the digital
signs on an ongoing basis.
Ontario Tourism kiosks are another
feature of the new ONroute centres
– the signage and interactive
content will also be maintained
by CDS. To complete this truly
full-service offering, Cineplex
Media is responsible for selling the
advertising space on the digital
signage within these Centres.
The Ministry of Transportation
of Ontario manages 23 service
centres along Highway 401 from
Windsor to the Quebec border, and
along a portion of Highway 400
north of Toronto. The Government
of Ontario has partnered with
Host Kilmer Service Centres to
redevelop 19 ONroute locations.
The newly modernized service
centres provide travellers with
modern, safe and accessible
facilities at which to rest, eat and
refuel, 24 hours a day, seven days
a week, year round.
